The combination of no responsibilities (work, cooking, cleaning) and plenty of time for writing is like an inspiration drug. A good one! It’s hard to beat.

Writers at Sea

Writing retreat on the high seas

Join Alli Sinclair and T.M. Clark on a unique writing retreat that sails to one of the Pacific’s most treasured destinations—New Caledonia. The relaxing nature of cruising will give you plenty of time to work on your projects as well as meet like-minded writers. When in port, you’ll have the option of exploring the vibrant local culture, swim in crystal clear waters or stroll along pristine beaches lined with palm trees—the perfect way to inspire creativity and rejuvenate your spirit!

Suitable for writers with any degree of experience, this retreat includes workshops, writing sessions, feedback, and mentoring. There’ll also be time to relax and gaze out at the azure ocean and endless blue sky, take in a show or game of trivia, read by one of the many pools, or undertake an on-shore adventure.

ABOUT US

T.M. CLARK

T.M. Clark presents workshops for adult and children’s community groups including libraries and the Queensland Writers Centre. She also runs the CYA Conference, now in its 14th year, in Brisbane. T.M. Clark is published by HarperCollins, Wombat Books and Macmillan Education. Tina loves the writing process and has had to learn to ‘like’ the editing part — an activity that has helped in her mentoring others who don’t really love the editing stage either.

ALLI SINCLAIR

Alli regularly presents workshops for Writers Victoria, Queensland Writers Centre and private writing groups, as well as providing mentoring and manuscript assessment. She is published by Harper Collins (Australia), Kensington Books (USA, UK, Canada), and her books have been translated into German and Serbian. Alli enjoys working with writers and helping them develop their craft and finding the gems that will make their stories and characters shine.
